Vote Carrivick!
The final stages of BBC Three’s talent show Upstaged are taking place next week, and bluegrass twins The Carrivick Sisters are amongst those fighting for victory and top prize of £10,000.
The show format sees acts enter a glass box in Bristol and attempt to entertain voting television and internet audiences for six hours. The sisters won the heats stage of the competition with ease, and are now due to compete in the quarter-finals at some point over the coming days.
Unfortunately, we won’t know exactly when the twins are due to appear until the weekend by which time many British bluegrassers will be at Sore Fingers and unable to cast their votes. However, having won support from all over the globe in the earlier stages, the twins should still have plenty of people voting for them. And if you’re one of those who’ll be at Sore Fingers, now is the time to tell your friends and family to vote in your absence.
