I've had a copy of this for a little over a week, having purchased it direct from the publisher but getting it delivered to a Florida address, and then brought back by a certain banjo-player who was holidaying there at the right time. This was considerably cheaper, and no doubt quicker, than paying the outrageous international delivery charge offered (somewhat higher than the book price).
Although I haven't quite finished reading it yet, I can say I am finding it fascinating, and am more than pleased I have it. It is also a well-produced book, not something I could say about the recent Ralph Stanley biography, which is rather shoddy and poorly written by comparison.
