Jams sessions - please read before posting

ukbluegrass is the ideal place to advertise your bluegrass, old-time or similar session, or to find out about jams in your area.

If you are looking for band members and not jammers, please post in the Bands and Musicians forum.

If you run a jam

If you run a public session, please post details in this section of the forum. Please mention the town/village in the subject as this makes it easier for people scanning the message titles to find you. e.g. Monthly jam in Neasden

If you want to add news or reminders about the session, simply add a reply to the existing topic. Please do not create a new thread as this will push notices about other jams off the page.

If you are not a regular visitor to ukbluegrass you can include contact details in your post so you don't miss any replies enquiring about your jam. You may also like to tick the "Notify me when a reply is posted" box.

If you are looking for a jam

Sessions often move venue or are cancelled at short notice so it is always best to check a jam is happening before travelling.

If you can’t find anything listed for your area, you are welcome to post saying you are looking for people near you. Please mention the town/village in the subject so people can find you more easily e.g. Looking for pickers in Neasden

If you are not a regular visitor to ukbluegrass you can include contact details in your post so you don't miss any replies. You may also like to tick the "Notify me when a reply is posted" box.
