New Essex Bluegrass Band Bass-Player Wanted

After ten years with the New Essex Bluegrass Band, Mike Stanhope, double-bass player and baritone harmony singer, is leaving to pursue other interests. He will play his last date with the band on Sunday 24 October at Kersey Mill in Suffolk - see Calendar.

The band has not recruited a replacement at present, and invites anyone interested to contact them by email at NewEssexBluegrassBand@hotmail.com, or by telephone on 01371 810334.

Singing ability is essential, together with a love of traditional bluegrass music.
