I will be visiting London Saturday (March 10) through Thursday, the 15th. I am a bass player and singer, living in Arizona, but originally from Virginia. I'll be staying in a hotel close to the Tower of London. I'm wondering if you still have the Monday night jam and if you could tolerate a nasally Virginia accent in your harmonies. Also, about how far would I commute? I'm not bringing an instrument, so I'd be happy just to grin and sing, or I could strum a guitar. I hope to hear from you soon. By the way, I play in a band called "Superstition Ridge.". If you look us up on YouTube, I'm the young guy playing bass:). You can query "Superstition Ridge Matterhorn" and several videos will appear.

Really sorry for the lack of a reply - I've been bedbound for the past 5 days and have only just ventured back online. There was a session last night (though withoout me) - I don't know if you made it of not, but the belated answer to your post is you're welcome at whatever level - you can tip up and either listen (not recommended and done at your own risk) or pick, hum, yodel, mime - whatever is pretty much ok. Nasal is good btw.

Paul, from the New Essex String Band, kindly picked up my wife and me at our hotel and took us to a jam at a pub. We had a terrific time! Bluegrassers are great folks all over the world!
