Hi everyone,

usual monthly jam session coming up. Next one is Tuesday, 1st May 2012. :banana:

The event takes place every 1st Tuesday of the month and is open to all Old Time and Bluegrass players of any level. Beginners welcome.

Another month gone by and the Winchcombe Jam Session is coming around fast.

Venue: The corner Cupboard Inn, 83 Gloucester Street, Winchcombe, GLOS.

All welcome, so come along and enjoy an evening of old time and bluegrass music. There will also be Appalachian dancing this session, to add to the fun.

Doesn't seem like a whole month has gone by since the last session... must be something in the air, and what better way to relax after such nice sunny days than attending a jam session.

The next Winchcombe one is on Tuesday 3rd April at 8PM. Usual venue:

This month, there will be flatfoot dancing as well as the usual tunes/songs so we will be playing lots of old time tunes :evilbanana:

Next Session - 1st May, usual Venue.

Watch this space for a June Jubilee Bank Holiday session at same location. Waiting for details of timings form landlady. Will post once I know.

Hi Everyone,

early notice that next month's session will take place on the jubilee Monday bank holiday, June 4th.

NOTE: THERE WILL BE NO SESSION ON TUESDAY 5th JUNE :!:

The Corner Cupboard is running a charity event that day and there will be a BBQ + other events also going on.

The jam session will start at 3PM, till we drop. We may also run a square dance or two.

There are also bouncy castles, bucking bronco, Morris Dancers (2PM I am told).

Just popping in a reminder....

Monday is the spring Bank Holiday, not the jubilee one, as I have previously stated, so I got that wrong, however, the jam session IS on Monday at 3PM as stated previously.

Might be worth bringing a folding chair/stool along. If the pub is busy, might struggle to get one, specially if nice weather and we play outside.
